Larry Koman is uniquely experienced in reconstruction, repair and rebuilding of private, commercial and industrial sites of any size, and provides a full range of reconstruction services dealing with all phases of restoration from start to finish. Koman has been a licensed California contractor since 1984. His career began in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he built a number of homes before turning his attention to remodeling and tenant improvement projects for redevelopment companies. Over the years, his projects ranged from site development for a 32 unit subdivision to restoration of a 30-unit historical residence to rehabilitation and redevelopment of commercial and multi-unit residential properties in the Oakland redevelopment district. His accounts included Coldwell Banker, Hewlett Packard, Apple Computers, Intel, Cornish and Carey Real Estate, City of San Jose, City of Santa Clara, Property Services Corporation, and Oakwood Apartments. Larry Koman came to Bakersfield in 1994 to oversee construction of a $51 million Corporate Regional Office building. At the time, it was the largest privately owned project under construction in California. With projects throughout California, Koman decided to centrally locate his home office in Bakersfield where his primary focus would be developing custom homes, and in 2006 he was appointed to the Board of the Bakersfield Redevelopment agency.
